LLY-283 is an effective and selective SAM competitive chemical probe targeting PRMT5. It inhibits PRMT5 activity and methylation of the H4R3-derived peptide substrate at IC50 of 20 nM. Its selectivity to PRMT5 is more than 100 times higher than that of other histone methyltransferases and non-epigenetic targets.

 

Solubility: soluble in DMSO. Insoluble in water.
