1,4-DPCA, an effective and selective inhibitor of prolyl-4-hydroxylase, also an inhibitor of collagen hydroxylation in human prepuce fibroblasts with an IC50 of 2.4 µM. 1, 4-dpca inhibits the isoform of prolyl - 4-hydroxylase α and stabilizes HIF-1α protein. 1, 4-DPCa also inhibited FIH with IC50 of 60 μM.
