VLX600 is a new inhibitor of iron-chelated phosphorylation (OXPHOS) to enhance the radiotherapy effect on tumor spheroids through synergistic action. VLX600 showed enhanced cytotoxicity under nutrient deficiency conditions. VLX600 can induce autophagy and mitochondrial inhibition and has antitumor activity.
