Demecarium Bromide is an anticholinesterase drug that is an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (MAO). It causes long-term pupil constriction and reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) in the eyes of Beagles with normal blood pressure and those with inherited glaucoma.
