PF-562271 HCl, the hydrochloride form of PF-562271, is a potent ATP competitive reversible inhibitor of FAK with an IC50 of 1.5 nM. Compared with FAK, the effect on Pyk2 is about 10 times less. Except for CDKs, the selectivity of PF-562271 HCl is about 100 times greater than that of other proteases.
