Licochalcone D (Lico D, LCD, LD) is a flavonoid isolated from the Chinese herbal medicine Glycyrrhiza inflata with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. Licochalcone D inhibited the phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 in LPS signaling pathway. Licochalcone D inhibited JAK2, EGFR, and Met (c-Met) activities and induced Ros-dependent apoptosis. Licochalcone D also induces activation of caspases and cleavage of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP).
