Dasatinib Monohydrate (BMS-354825) is a novel and potent multi-target inhibitor that acts on target Abl, Src and c-Kit with IC50 of <1 nM, 0.8 nM and 79 nM, respectively.

In Vitro: In TgE mice,Dasatinib specifically inhibited colony formation of bone marrow B cells (LMP2A expression) and reduced spleen size. Compared with Tg6/λ-MYC mice in the control group, the splenic mass was significantly smaller in the Dasatinib treatment group. Dasatinib inhibited lymph node enlargement and reversed splenomegaly in MYC/LMP2A transgenic mice. Transgrafted tumor cells from LMP2A/MYC dual transgenic mice to Rag1KO mice,Dasatinib reversed splenomegaly. Dasatinib inhibits Lyn phosphorylation in B lymphoid tumor cells expressing LMP2A.
