In Vitro: BAY11-7085 inhibited the expression of TNF-α-induced adhesion molecules E-selectin, VCAM-1, and ICAM-1 by inhibiting NF-κB, with no detectable cytotoxicity in HUVEC cells at 10 μM. BAY 11-7085 enhances inhibition of NFkappaB activity by paclitaxel and decreases the viability of paclitaxel-treated cells. In addition, the combination of Bay11-7085 and LY294002 had a synergistic effect on apoptosis of PEL cells.
