Nocodazole is a rapid reversible inhibitor of microtubule polymerization and also inhibits Abl, Abl(E255K), and Abl(T315I) with corresponding IC50 values of 0.21 μM, 0.53 μM, and 0.64 μM, respectively. Nocodazole improves the efficiency of CRISPR-mediated homologous recombination and has a additive effect on enhancing the effectiveness of precise gene editing. Nocodazole can induce apoptosis.
