Mito-TEMPO (MT) is a mitochondrial-targeted superoxide dismutase mimetic that protects against the early stages of acetaminophen (APAP) hepatotoxicity by inhibiting peroxynitrite formation. Mito-TEMPO treatment inhibited APAP-induced RIP3 kinase expression.
