Stattic is the first non-peptide small molecule inhibitor of STAT3, which can effectively inhibit the activation and nuclear translocation of STAT3. Its IC50 is 5.1 μM, and its selectivity for STAT3 is much higher than that of STAT1. Stattic can induce apoptosis.
