In Vitro: In vitro, AT9283 effectively inhibits A variety of kinases, including Aurora A, Aurora B, JAK3, JAK2 and Abl, with IC50 of 3 nM, 3 nM, 1.1 nM, 1.2 nM and 4 nM, respectively. AT9283 acts on HCT116 cells, producing a distinct polyploid phenotype with an IC50 of 30 nM by inhibiting Aurora B kinase activity. Moreover, AT9283 also effectively inhibited HCT116 from forming colonies.
